Fire Protection Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Fire Protection Designer and/or Project Manager. This position requires a skilled individual who can lead various stages of installation, from commencement to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with suppliers, builders, and sprinkler fitters is essential for the successful execution of projects.
  • Ordering pipes and materials in a timely manner is crucial for project progress.
  • Budget reporting and tracking are vital for ensuring financial transparency.
  • Supervising all stages of installation, including commissioning, guarantees a high standard of workmanship.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the fire protection contracting industry is necessary for this role.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS 2118.1 and the Building Code of Australia (BCA) is required for effective decision-making.
  • Experience in design and/or management of fire protection systems is essential for success.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as HydraCad or similar tools, is necessary for efficient project execution.
  • Excellent design, planning, and scheduling abilities are required for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Self-motivation and good organisational skills enable effective team collaboration and communication.
