We are seeking a highly skilled General Practice Liaison Specialist to join our team at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact in the field of general practice education and training.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess experience in general practice performance assessment and education/training development, with exposure to the development of educational content. They will have strong communication and advocacy skills, a passion for assisting registrars and GP training, and a good working knowledge of requirements for the AGPT program.
Key Responsibilities- Advocate for the individual and collective needs of GP registrars participating in the RACGP training programs.
- Support medical education: module curation, updates, and additions. Answer questions from members, staff, participants, and training organisations relating to the educational materials. Revise and update any guides, training material relevant to the learning units. Participate in the updating and evaluation of learning resources.
- Assist Training Programs Department support: day to day questions relating to any medical education aspects of the program.
- Work with management to inform quality improvements relevant to the practice environment.
- Experience in the general practice environment (currently employed).
- Strong communication and advocacy skills.
- Possession of a degree in a relevant field (e.g., medicine, education, health science).
- A good working knowledge of requirements for the AGPT program.
