Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Designer to join our Buildings Team in Wagga Wagga.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including structural design of buildings, inspections, assessments, and reporting.

  • Design and develop structural systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with Australian Building Codes and Standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers to deliver iconic projects.
  • Manage and lead teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on structural integrity.

You will be a key member of our team, working on projects from conception to final design and construction surveillance.

Key Requirements
  • A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
  • 3-6 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
