Job Profile

This role involves designing, analyzing and certifying scaffolding structures to meet project requirements and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles, proficiency in engineering software and CAD tools, and a thorough understanding of Australian Standards, codes and safety requirements for scaffolding.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards (including AS4576) and WHS regulations.
  • Provide technical sign-off for working loads, structural integrity and stability of scaffold systems.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers and site teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Review and approve drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Capacity to appear on the National Engineers Register.
  • Demonstrated experience in scaffold engineering design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards, codes and safety requirements for scaffolding.
