Job Opportunity:

Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Mt Isa, QLD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing maintenance and repairs to a wide array of Komatsu machinery, providing technical support to our clients throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Komatsu machinery
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in diesel fitting (Heavy Vehicle)
  • Prior experience in a similar role, ideally with Komatsu machinery
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • QLD Drivers Licence
  • HR Licence (desirable)
