Registered Nurse Opportunities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Close Observation Unit at Auburn Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and making a real difference in improving health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised excellent patient/client care within a health service environment to maximise the health outcomes for a patient/client.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.
  • Organise and prioritise work effectively, demonstrating initiative and leadership to junior members of the team.
  • Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills- written and verbal, and ability to provide person centred care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated extensive and recent critical nursing skills and experience, demonstrated resuscitation experience desired.
  • Currently working in Critical Care Nursing or minimum 6 months recent critical experience.
