Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently.

About the Role
  • Support clients with Mental Health, Intellectual, and Physical Disabilities, ensuring they receive high-quality care and support.
  • Assist participants with personal care and household tasks such as menu planning, cooking, serving meals, cleaning, shopping, and other daily activities, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work varied shifts, including short and long shifts, sleepovers, awake duties, and weekends, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability, ensuring you have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Have at least 6 months of paid experience as a Support Worker, showcasing your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess evidence of COVID-19 vaccination doses, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Hold a current Working with Children (WWCC) & NDIS Worker Check, ensuring you meet the necessary requirements for working with vulnerable populations.
  • Have a National Police Check, verifying your trustworthiness and reliability.
  • Hold a Driver's Licence, enabling you to travel safely and efficiently to client locations.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of professional boundaries, ensuring you maintain appropriate relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Be flexible and able to accept shifts on short notice, demonstrating your ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
