As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, handling and storing ammonium nitrate in our Bajool site. You will work closely with the Site Supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard and in line with our Zero Harm vision.

About the Role

This is a 7:7 roster, 6am – 6pm Wednesday to Tuesday roster cycle. It is expected that the successful applicant lives local to the region. We are looking for a Plant Operator with experience in the safe operation of a Forklift in an environment where they are able to take ownership of the work area.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Follow all reasonable direction/instructions issued by the operating supervisor.
  2. Grounds/yard maintenance on site
  3. Undertake all forms of AN handling and storage tasks
  4. Safe and efficient operation of forklift
  5. Basic maintenance on all on site equipment / prestart inspections /weekly/monthly checks
  6. Receive/despatch bulk and bagged AN
  7. Completion of all required paperwork

  • Forklift (HRWL) Licence
  • Standard 11
  • Qld Security Clearance Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Supportive team member with a positive attitude who is keen to learn
  • High attention to detail with an appreciation of site cleanliness
