Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially astute Electrical Engineer to fill this leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, combined with strong business development and client engagement skills.

This is a senior position within our multi-disciplinary team, requiring you to drive project success, expand client relationships, and identify new business opportunities across various sectors including health, defence, high-rise, industrial, and education.

You will be responsible for leading client-facing project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction. Additionally, you will manage internal design teams, oversee engineering assessments, and represent the company in industry forums and client presentations.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a design consultancy environment, with a strong track record of client engagement and project leadership. A degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, they will also possess strong technical knowledge in LV power systems and lighting design, with proficiency in tools such as PowerCAD and AGI/Dialux.

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a collaborative, can-do attitude are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client-facing project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Drive business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships.
  • Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments across complex, multi-client projects.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance our market presence.
  • Deliver technically sound and innovative electrical designs, reports, and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a design consultancy environment, with a strong track record of client engagement and project leadership.
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge in LV power systems and lighting design, with proficiency in tools such as PowerCAD and AGI/Dialux.
