Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Glass Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a Glass Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for the manual handling of glass, operating various machinery, and performing tasks related to glass manufacturing.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to follow procedures and take instructions from management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate glass cutting tables, polishing and arising machines, and furnace operators.
  • Load glass trucks and perform waterjet and CNC machine operations.
  • Perform manual handling of glass and use pneumatic hand tools (desired).

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in glass manufacturing or a related field is highly valued.
  • Training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates potential and eagerness to learn.
  • Physical fitness is required due to the manual handling of glass.
  • Able to follow procedures and take instructions from management.

Working Conditions:

The working hours for this role are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

The pay rate for this position is $33 per hour, plus superannuation benefits.
