Mental Health Community Support Worker

About the RoleWe are seeking a casual Community Support Worker to join our Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS) program in the Broome area. The successful candidate will provide outreach support to individuals accessing our service, who are eligible for housing support and have a mental health diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Support consumers to increase their ability to participate in their ongoing clinical and psycho-social support needs
- Assist consumers to develop skills to self-manage their lifestyle and well-being
- Develop and maintain partnerships with specialist mental health services
- Work with consumers' individualised plans and track progress in line with funding requirements
- Administration and record keeping
- Certificate in Mental Health or relevant Health Services
- Previous experience working with people with mental illness or psycho-social disability
- Passion for client outcomes and mental health advocacy
- High computer literacy and administration skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate
- Current valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
