School Crossing Safety Assistant

We are seeking friendly and reliable individuals to assist with the safety of school-aged children and other pedestrians at designated crossings.

Working hours will be between 8am-9am in the mornings, and/or 3pm-4pm in the afternoons, Monday to Friday during school terms. This may involve working in various locations across the Council Area.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Effective communication skills to interact with students and community members
  • A current Working With Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Be Triple Vaxed against COVID-19
  • Flexibility to work at multiple locations within the Council Area when needed
  • A satisfactory Police Clearance and Medical Clearance

In return, you'll be employed on a Part Time Max Term Contract, accruing Annual and Sick/Carers leave.
