The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, modifying, servicing, inspecting, testing and troubleshooting aircraft systems, associated components and equipment within the scope of their applicable trade, qualifications, training, competency and approved maintenance organisation authorisation.
Main Responsibilities- Maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, associated components and equipment
- Completion of assigned tasks by undertaking a variety of AMO aircraft maintenance activities, sign-off and certification of those aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with the appropriate authorised maintenance data
- Interpretation of instructions for continuing airworthiness airworthiness limitations from within AMD and application to the assessment of defects and imperfections
- Providing mentorship to subordinate technicians in the development of their pathway to success
- Reporting to the assigned maintenance operations manager
- Liaising with boeing, commonwealth and other industry teams involved in maintenance operations at amberley
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Certificate iv in aeroskills (avionics)
- Sound knowledge of aviation quality assurance procedures and the dasr 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework
- Australian citizenship
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain an australian negative vetting 1 security clearance
