About this role :

As a key member of our Central Queensland Health team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest level of safety and quality in our maintenance operations.

Working as a plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks including:

  • Ensuring safe work practices are always adopted, including the use of protective clothing and equipment as recommended.
  • Complying with procedures, policies, regulations, and standards impacting the position.
  • Undertaking physical activities including bending, twisting, and squatting.
  • Carrying out minor works and new installations, and working with and guiding external contractors and in-house trades as required.

Requirements :

  • You must hold a Plumbing Trade qualification and have a current Queensland Plumbing License.
  • A Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card is mandatory.
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Certification is mandatory.
  • While not mandatory, a restricted Electrical and Gas endorsement with roofing qualification is desirable.
