Laundry Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and sorting clothes and linen for residents, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the laundry area.

In addition, you will work closely with residents to ensure their comfort and dignity by providing personalized laundry services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash, dry, fold, and sort clothes and linen for residents
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the laundry area
  • Provide personalized laundry services to residents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective laundry operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience in laundry or cleaning
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Safety: Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Certifications: Police check/NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
