We are seeking a skilled Centre Manager to lead our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned people leader to drive exceptional customer experience on a casual fixed-term basis.
You will be fully accountable for the facility's operational, financial, and program deliverables through engagement with the leadership team, key stakeholders, and local Council.
With expertise in sales, financial, and risk management, you will contribute to the Centre's overall success.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure visitor and employee safety through effective planning and oversight of policies, processes, and procedures.
- Coach and develop leaders to deliver KPIs through engagement, performance planning, and individual development plans.
- Foster a high-performance community-minded culture through highly visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
- Achieve budgeted performance targets.
- Maintain a strong relationship with local Council.
- Implement a high-value customer service proposition addressing client needs.
- Recruit diverse and passionate employees to complement the team and vision.
- Identify staff career progression paths leading to transparent succession decisions when required.
- Maintain facilities to approved standards in line with contract requirements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications- Experience managing or leading in a similar leisure or aquatic facility.
- Highly developed communication skills with positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Experience planning and executing operational, financial, and people plans to successful outcomes.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2).
- National Police Check.
- Working with Vulnerable People.
- Legal working rights in Australia.
- Pool Operations Certificate (not essential but highly regarded).
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or ability to complete the course).
