Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

About the Role:

Casual housekeeping attendants are responsible for maintaining buildings in a clean and hygienic condition. Their tasks include spot cleaning of floors, operating hand-held equipment, sweeping and mopping, toilet and bathroom cleaning, management of waste bins, cleaning glass surfaces, dusting hard surfaces, rearranging furniture, and disinfecting touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including offices, corridors, and communal spaces
  • Operate a range of cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, blowers, and high-pressure hoses
  • Manage rubbish bins and bulky waste
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained

Requirements:

  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene at all times
  • Demonstrate safe manual handling techniques and use PPE when required
  • Interact with residents, guests, and contractors in a professional and friendly manner

Working Conditions:

This is a casual position requiring flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
