We are seeking a skilled Software Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service by receiving, administering, and resolving all software-related equipment issues on inbound calls and making follow-up outbound calls to evaluate customer satisfaction.

The Software Support Specialist will be the telephone face of our Software Help Desk, receiving customer calls for software issues for all dental equipment sold by our business. They will work closely with internal teams to resolve technical issues and provide technical advice as it relates to our equipment products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide phone IT software support and technical advice
  • Remote support and log in to customer platforms whilst on the phone
  • Perform software pre-installs, installations, fault diagnostics, repairs and software migrations
  • Diagnose technical issues and communicate with the broader software support team as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Essential Knowledge:
  • Technical knowledge of software and hardware related to dental equipment
  • Experience with local area networks (LANs), SQLs, PC firewalls and installation of software applications
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Maturity of judgement and discretion
  • Capacity to operate independently
