Elderly Psychiatric Care Specialist

This role requires exceptional clinical skills, particularly in assessing risk and developing strategies to mitigate its impact. You will work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
We value professionalism, compassion, and effective communication in this position. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will have relevant postgraduate qualifications, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and at least 5 years post-qualification experience in mental health, including care of older adults and clinical services experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce risk and enhance independence
- Provide discipline-specific support and advice to the team
Requirements:
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in mental health
