Primary Teacher Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with NESA curriculum standards for K-6, promoting academic excellence and student wellbeing.
  • Design learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs through differentiated instruction, ensuring inclusivity and equity.
  • Integrate digital tools into classroom practice to enhance teaching and learning outcomes, fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Use student learning data to inform planning, assessment, and instruction, driving continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the school's Deep Learning and Professional Learning Team programs, staying at the forefront of educational best practices.
  • Participate in co-curricular and pastoral care programs as part of whole-school community engagement, promoting social responsibility.
  • Possess NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) teacher accreditation and a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Demonstrate ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and academically rigorous classroom environment, embodying the school's values.
  • Understand and commit to the values and Christian ethos of the Anglican Diocese of Grafton, aligning with the school's mission.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • NESA teacher accreditation and WWCC.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a supportive and challenging learning environment.
  • Understanding of or willingness to adopt Deep Learning pedagogies and evidence-based best practices.
  • Commitment to the school's values and Christian ethos.
