Job Title: Project Officer

About the Role:

This role involves supporting the delivery of evidence-based marketing initiatives and projects that aim to increase motivation to quit smoking and use available smoking cessation support services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating campaigns in collaboration with external agencies and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage with key government and non-government organisations including local health districts, peak bodies and advocacy groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing initiatives and projects that contribute to increasing motivation to quit smoking and use available smoking cessation support services
  • Collaborate with external creative and media agencies to develop and evaluate campaigns
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are achieved

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing with a focus on planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertising campaigns across multiple channels
  • Experience working with external creative and media agencies
  • Proven social media skills, including content planning, community management and media optimisation
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, health, public health or health promotion, or equivalent professional experience and training
