Accountant for a Growing South East Accounting Firm

About Charterhouse and the Role
We are Partnering with a Top 100 AFR Accounting firm based in the South East suburbs, seeking an enthusiastic Intermediate Accountant to join the team.
The role involves working closely with Managers and Partners to service a portfolio of clients, including ASX listed, international clients, and complex multi-entity groups.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Preparing financial statements and taxation returns for companies, trusts, and individuals.
- Taxation Assistance: Assist with solving taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7.
- Business Activity Statements: Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity statements.
- Client Meetings: Attending client meetings with the Manager or Partner.
- Client Queries: Assist with client queries directly.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Accounting or similar).
- Commenced or part-way through CA/CPA studies.
- 2-5 years of local public practice experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
