Job Opportunity

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audiologist to join our team in Launceston. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating clients with auditory problems.

This role is based onsite at Launceston & Kings Meadows, supporting clients of all backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments using established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards.
  • Provide rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists where needed.
  • Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, allied health professionals, and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.
  • Engage in marketing/public relations activities in the community as required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, manage client load, and meet performance targets.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Audiology.
  • Full and current membership with the Audiology Society of Australia.
  • Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards.
  • Sound knowledge of the Hearing Services Program.
  • Experience working with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme.
  • Ability to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work.
  • Capacity to adapt to business changes and implement new clinical practices, products, and policies.
