This role is based onsite at Launceston & Kings Meadows.
Your opportunity
As an Audiologist, you'll support and empower clients of all backgrounds.
You'll work with teams who go the extra mile to help both children and adults who need us.
What you'll do
Assess the auditory problems of non-complex adult clients in accordance with established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards
Provide rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as appropriate
Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists where needed
Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits
Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health & support agencies and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client
Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community as required
Provide excellent customer service, manage client load and meet revenue targets
What you'll bring
Tertiary qualification in Audiology
Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia
Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program
Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work
Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products and policies
