
Advanced Clinical Care Specialist

As a Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading advanced clinical care services in a newly created role.
You will deliver culturally safe and responsive primary health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. You will conduct independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making, prescribing medications under the Kimberley Standard Drug List and authorised SASAs.
- Deliver culturally safe and responsive primary health care aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care.
- Conduct independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making.
- Prescribe medications under the Kimberley Standard Drug List and authorised SASAs.
- Order diagnostic investigations and interpret results.
- Manage recalls and reminders.

Qualifications and Skills RequiredTo qualify, you must hold current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services is desirable.
- Clinical expertise in triage, treatment, and ongoing care management.
- Effective communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Cultural humility and a willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context.
