Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Services team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing and championing the Engineering services team as a subject matter expert in the electrical field.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct design reviews and inspections to provide compliant and quality assured electrical design packages.
  • Provide timely and accurate technical advice on electrical systems within retail environments.
  • Act as a Project Engineer for development projects, including responsibility for design, documentation, estimates, tender reports, administration, programming, and financial control.
  • Contribute to initiatives to support engagement and organisational effectiveness.
  • Research and investigate innovation and emerging technologies to develop sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of Australian standards, international standards, regulations, best practices, and guidelines.
  • Review existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
