Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to provide comprehensive community-based assessment and intervention services for individuals experiencing acute mental health issues and/or substance abuse.

About You
  • Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist with expertise in acute mental health and AOD assessment and treatment.
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical skills in assessing and treating acute mental health and substance use disorders in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments for ages 12-65 rated by Triage as Category B (CAT B) or Category C (CAT C).
  • Provide brief interventions to consumers requiring tertiary mental health treatment for up to 28 days during an acute phase, aged 16-65.
  • Conduct post-follow-up calls to consumers who have left the Emergency Department and are not referred to other tertiary mental health services.
