About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team at Goldmark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing talent initiatives and managing the end-to-end recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with hiring managers across the organization to establish role requirements and develop strong relationships.
  • Determine applicant requirements and fit to role by studying the position description and relevant qualifications, skills, and attributes.
  • Take part in the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, preliminary phone screens, and interview coordination with hiring managers.
  • Place job advertisements and source candidates through various channels, including internal database searching, online job boards, and professional networks.
  • Manage administration related to recruitment processes, including conducting reference checks and verifying qualifications.
  • Maintain and create attractive job postings to build a pipeline of inbound resumes.
  • Proactively build a talent pool of potential candidates.
  • Approach and recruit talent using various tools and techniques.
  • Identify difficult job vacancies and investigate to deliver the best recruitment approach.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar recruitment role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Formal HR qualification, such as a degree or certificate.
  • Proactive sourcing techniques for difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and telephone skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Competent in planning and prioritizing workload independently.
  • Team and customer service-oriented.
  • Ability to achieve outcomes with minimal direct supervision.
  • Demonstrate fairness in the recruitment process by treating people with dignity and taking a balanced view.
  • Ability to manage multiple job vacancies concurrently.
