The RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist - Network to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining our IT networking and security systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 2nd and 3rd level network support to ensure seamless operation of our systems.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and maintain operational processes in line with industry standards.
- Perform upgrades and replacements of network and security systems, and test new technologies to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, and provide training to colleagues as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- At least 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure roles, with a strong background in network administration and security.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNA or CCNP.
- Desirable experience in wireless infrastructure technologies, network security infrastructure, and security principles & best practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
