About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for transporting residents to various destinations, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Transporting residents to and from appointments, outings, and other activities;">
  • Folding and unfolding mobility aids as required;">
  • Providing assistance with simple mobilisation, including pushing residents in wheelchairs (where trained to do so);">
  • Engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outing;">
  • Delivering a high level of customer service, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customers;">
  • Driving in accordance with road and safety requirements, maintaining due care at all times.">

You Will Possess The Following Skills And Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • A Class C licence for driving buses of 8 passengers or less;">
  • Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable);">
  • The ability to use computer software (Word and Excel);">
  • An NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement);">
  • A First Aid & CPR Certificate (desirable);">
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain);">
  • Covid vaccination evidence; and">
  • A Traffic & Driver History (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).">
