Electrical Fitter/Maintenance Electrician Job Description

The Role:

  • A highly experienced Industrial / Manufacturing Electrician AND/OR Electrical Fitter is required to start immediately.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled trade-qualified electrician to join our client's team as an Electrical Fitter/Maintenance Electrician. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installation, testing, verification, fault find, and repair on machinery to control cabinets and panel wiring.

About the Role:

  • Trade-qualified electrician - cert 3 or electrotechnology equivalent.
  • Preventative and Predictive site maintenance on all their machinery & equipment.
  • Plan and perform scheduled maintenance checks on machinery.
  • Installation of electrical equipment and systems.
  • PLC & SCADA troubleshooting (not programming but can learn from Engineers).
  • Assist with standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Daily Duties: Perform electrical installation, testing, verification, fault find, and repair on machinery to control cabinets and panel wiring.
  • Qualifications: Trade-qualified electrician - cert 3 or electrotechnology equivalent.

Benefits:

  • An attractive salary range of $45 to $52.50 per hour depending on experience.
  • Roughly 42 hours a week translates to a base salary take home of around $95,000 to $110,000 per year.
