Assistant Store Manager Job Description

As a highly motivated and organized Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our retail stores. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless shopping experience.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members to achieve their best. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of store appearance and visual merchandising, as well as analyzing sales data and providing recommendations for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service and a positive attitude
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to improve performance and achieve goals
  • Maintaining a safe and secure store environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Conducting regular meetings with team members to discuss progress and address any concerns
  • Analysing sales data and providing recommendations for growth and development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail management role
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
