Infrastructure Project Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Design Engineer to join our team and lead the development of infrastructure for substations, transport, and civil structures, steel/concrete buildings, and transmission infrastructure. As a key member of the engineering team, you will enjoy mentoring and supporting a team of structural engineers, including graduates.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical expertise for the development of infrastructure
  • Mentoring and supporting a team of structural engineers
  • Collaborating with other engineers, designers, and clients across a range of crucial projects
  • Contributing to the successful delivery of structural design requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience in a similar Principal Structural Engineer position within renewables or utilities
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of Australian guidelines and standards
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and mentor graduates and engineers
  • Proficient in SPACE GASS, PLS-CADD/PLS POLE and other structural tools
  • Demonstrated recent experience working within utilities or renewable energy design projects
