About The Opportunity

As a Middle Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the school's mission by leading and shaping our dynamic learning and teaching programs. You will be responsible for further refining the newly created Learning and Teaching Framework with a focus on deliberate, high-impact actions and strategies that will improve teaching and learning.

  • Deliberate, high-impact actions and strategies to enhance teaching and learning
  • Targeted professional learning opportunities for teachers
  • Collaborative planning through Professional Learning Communities
  • Data-informed decision making and classroom observation
  • Leading designated curriculum areas taught in the school
  • Applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice
  • Supervising and inducting teachers engaged in the area of responsibility
  • Analysing student performance data and addressing areas of concern through interventions

To be successful in this position, you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Developed work programs aligned with national, state, and local requirements
  • Driving assessment and moderation processes when developing new programs
  • Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area
