Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in delivering early intervention, parenting, and child development programs for vulnerable families. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and support families with complex needs. They will provide individual counselling, advocacy, and support to parents, empowering them to develop coping skills, problem-solving abilities, and a positive outlook on their future.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work, giving eligibility for full membership of a relevant professional association.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate complex interventions, including group work aimed at addressing psychosocial need in families with children aged 0-3 years.
- Experience in working with families, utilizing current research and knowledge about attachment, infant mental health, and brain development.
