The following are the key responsibilities of this role:

1. Develop and execute category strategies to optimize value alignment with business objectives.

2. Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers ensuring performance driving continuous improvement.

4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders understanding business needs providing strategic procurement advice.

5. Oversee contract management activities ensuring compliance cost control risk mitigation.

6. Conduct market analysis identifying trends cost-saving opportunities benchmarking against industry standards.

7. Ensure procurement activities adhere to governance regulatory sustainability requirements.

Skills Experience and Qualifications

1. Proven experience in procurement and category management ideally within energy utilities mining or construction sectors.

2. Strong expertise in strategic sourcing supplier negotiations delivering cost-saving initiatives.

3. Experience in managing high-value contracts driving supplier performance.

4. Exceptional stakeholder engagement communication skills influencing collaborating across business functions.

5. Strong analytical commercial acumen translating data into actionable insights.

6. Proficiency in procurement systems e.g SAP advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities include developing and executing category strategies managing end-to-end procurement processes building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers collaborating with internal stakeholders overseeing contract management activities conducting market analysis and ensuring procurement activities adhere to governance regulatory and sustainability requirements.
