Court Services Officer Role Overview
The Court Services Officer role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the modernisation and improvement of the court system, focusing on safety, innovation, efficiency, and enhanced access to justice.

Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Support: Provide efficient operation support for Court Services Queensland registries;
- Frontline Services: Offer responsive services to court users, addressing their needs in a trauma-aware and compassionate manner;
- Courtroom Preparation: Carry out tasks including unlocking and preparing courtrooms, administering oaths, maintaining security, and handing out exhibits and documents;
- Risk Management: Collate information and escalate risks related to Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV);
- Process Adherence: Adhere to established processes, policies, and procedures to ensure timeliness and accuracy;
- Document Processing: Prepare and process administrative and financial documents, provide technical and administrative support to Magistrates, and cultivate professional relationships with stakeholders;
- Data Integrity: Use databases, digital tools, and files to ensure data integrity and accuracy;
- Information Provision: Provide information about court and registry services, rules, practices, and procedures;
- Skills Development: Develop skills, maintain knowledge, and stay motivated when managing challenging tasks;
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to identify service improvements and communicate progress;
- Statutory Duties: Fulfill statutory duties as required, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and the integrity of court processes;
- Ongoing Duties: Perform other reasonable duties as directed by supervisory and management staff, adhering to professional standards and organisational objectives.
