Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Trader to join our team at Anton Murray Consulting. As a Quantitative Trader, you will be responsible for researching and developing new quant trading strategies for markets in AsiaPac.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement quantitative models to optimize trading strategies.
  • Conduct backtesting and analysis to prove or disprove trading hypotheses.
  • Produce analytics reports to gain further insight into performance.
  • Develop and maintain Python tools to assist with research tasks.
  • Collaborate with the trading team to monitor automated trading systems.

Requirements

  • Over 3 years of experience in a quant trading or research role at a fund, bank, or trading house.
  • Advanced programming skills with Python.
  • Strong educational background in Science, Maths, or quant-focused courses.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
