A job that focuses on the commercial and operationally efficient extraction of resources requires a strategic approach. Adbri is seeking an individual who can oversee the tactical planning and oversight of quarry and mine operations and rehabilitation programs.

This role will focus on overseeing reporting on geological assessments, working with consultants to identify areas for extraction, and designing and implementing quarry layouts and resource extraction plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing short-term and long-term quarry reserve planning to meet future and current production targets.
  • Working effectively with site and state managers to plan and align upcoming project approvals with preferred timing and budget constraints.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quarry reserves planning, environmental management, and regulatory compliance in the mining and quarry sectors.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 7 years in quarry or mining operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  2. Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-site operations and leading teams across multiple locations.
  3. Strong strategic project management and planning knowledge with skill in their application.
