We are seeking a caring and skilled Home Care Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our care services, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure clients' comfort, dignity, and well-being.
  • Household Assistance: Support clients with cleaning, meal preparation, and general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their independence.
  • Social Engagement: Foster social interaction and provide companionship, offering emotional support to improve clients' quality of life and overall well-being.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Effective communication skills
  • An empathic and caring approach
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Access to a fully maintained and insured vehicle
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Competency with smartphones/tablets or willingness to learn
  • Physical fitness for manual handling and extended periods of standing/sitting

Requirements:

  • Qualified Home Care Employee: Certificate III in Individual Support (essential)
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain
  • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's License
