Executive Chef

Located in the heart of Warragul, Newmason Eat Drink Relax is one of Gippsland's top-rated hospitality venues. We offer a range of services, including a bistro, functions, lounge bar, and room service.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional food quality, presentation, and service. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking food to meet dietary requirements
• Following recipes and presentation specifications
• Operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Overseeing and managing kitchen operations
• Cleaning and organizing the kitchen and equipment
• Preserving and storing foodstuffs in temperature-controlled facilities
• Catering for functions and events

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
• At least 3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
• Knowledge of safe food handling procedures
• A positive and proactive attitude
• The ability to work in a team environment and individually
