Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects throughout their lifecycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Support proposal staff in identifying project opportunities and preparing bid materials that align with our Project Management Framework.
- Develop proactive marketing strategies to secure new clients and develop industry relationships.
- Lead project delivery by providing effective management skills to ensure high-quality outcomes meet client expectations.
- Assist in reviewing and negotiating contracts, verifying timeframes, milestones, procedures, and budgets to achieve project objectives.
- Establish project plans, including resourcing, finance, risk, and quality, in conjunction with the technical team and stakeholders.
- Perform on technically complex projects and act as a technical resource to other team members.
- Comply with project controls, including project scheduling, monitoring progress, cost forecasting, and managing scope changes.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or relevant technical field is desirable.
- 7 years of experience in civil project management, preferably working on stormwater/roads, land development, and council projects.
- Proven success in delivering large projects, coordinating day-to-day project tasks, and executing project plans.
- Ability to manage stakeholders in complex environments, prioritize client satisfaction, and drive successful project outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with experience in project programming, critical path analysis, and commercial acumen.
