Senior Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our team in delivering challenging and exciting projects that shape the way we evolve, adapt, and transform industries.

This is a senior leadership role that requires confident leadership across multidisciplinary teams, strong stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to continuous improvement and compliance.

About the Role

This rare opportunity allows you to step into a key position and take charge of project delivery at a leading refinery in Geelong. You'll be responsible for leading the execution of maintenance, turnaround, and project scopes, driving safety, operational excellence, and commercial outcomes.

To thrive in this role, you'll bring deep experience in oil and gas, particularly in shutdowns and campaign execution, alongside a solid grasp of engineering principles and project management. Your strategic mindset, clear communication, and ability to foster a high-performance culture will be key to delivering results aligned with our values and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage 10+ years' experience in senior roles within Oil & Gas environments to drive project success.
  • Proven leadership in maintenance, shutdowns, and campaign execution to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract management expertise to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HSE culture and continuous improvement to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
