Role Overview

HKT is embarking on a data-driven business transformation journey, and we're seeking a skilled Data Analyst to help us drive this mission forward. As a key member of our DNA team, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data analytics solutions to address business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into clearly defined data requirements
  • Conduct business analysis to understand business users' requirements from business analytics
  • Identify and recommend new data and analytics capabilities, tools, and services to enhance our overall data science capabilities
  • Ensure data quality using relevant tools and techniques
  • Proactively contribute to data process improvements, data governance, data architecture, and team process improvements
  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise-level business insights dashboards and reports
  • Develop programming skills for visualization
  • Analyze and interpret data trends and patterns, and communicate key findings to various stakeholders
  • Deliver on responsibilities and tasks in a timely manner
  • Collaborate and partner with other data analysts and data teams in the organization
  • Build the data dictionary
  • Engage with business stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years' experience in designing and developing data solutions
  • 6+ years' experience working with business reporting
  • Extensive experience with data visualization and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a systematic manner
  • Development and maintenance of various reports, metrics, tools, and operational dashboards
  • Strong understanding of data visualization and analytics concepts
  • Previous experience in data process improvement and strong track record in data quality enhancement
  • Ability to understand data implementation challenges and tailor analytics solutions accordingly
  • Experience working with complex business data sets
  • Proven problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information simply and effectively
  • Ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative environment
  • Programming skills: JS, HTML, CSS, SQL, Python
  • Self-learner interested in keeping current with the changing data and analytics landscape

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Looker Studio Pro
  • Experience in Lean-Agile Methodology
  • Prior experience in implementing enterprise-level dashboards
  • Telecommunications industry experience
  • Cloud Service Providers Machine Learning and AI services experience (GCP in particular)
