The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, data processing, and cloud computing, with experience in Python, Terraform, and Kubernetes. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, agile development workflows, and CI/CD tools.
We offer a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
Job Description:
- Design and implement scalable cloud-based systems using GCP technologies.
- Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment scripts.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall engineering process.
Requirements:
- MS or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience in Data Engineering.
- Experience in working with any Cloud technologies - GCP.
- Demonstrable experience and strong background in data processing and software engineering.
- Strong Software Engineering experience with proficiency in Python and Terraform.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills.
- Experience with container/orchestration tools Kubernetes.
- Experience in agile environments and development workflows using GIT or similar tools, and CI/CD tools.
