Job Description">

Forklift Operator positions are available in a family farming business with over 75 years of operation, located in Tully, Far North Queensland.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, managing all receivals and dispatch from the farm, and transporting products to ensure they are not damaged.

Other key responsibilities include preparing palletised product for cold storage and transport, liaising with Farm Manager and Shed Manager to coordinate load requirements, and ensuring accurate records are kept of daily work schedules.

In addition, the selected candidates will assist with stocktake and management of packing materials, monitor cold rooms for quality control, and perform other duties within their competency.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

Applicants should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

They should also have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience in a similar role.

Previous experience in operating forklifts and working in a warehouse or agricultural setting is highly desirable.
