Job Overview

We are seeking a cybersecurity professional to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Consultant, Cybersecurity, you will play a key role in enhancing the cybersecurity posture of our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and tactical advice to clients on improving their cybersecurity practices.
  • Support the design and development of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps.
  • Create and update information security policy frameworks to ensure best practice compliance.
  • Perform current state assessments, evaluating the effectiveness of cybersecurity processes and controls against industry standards.
  • Write detailed reports and findings on cybersecurity maturity, gap assessments, and remediation plans.
  • Contribute to establishing risk management plans, including critical infrastructure risk management programs.
  • Establish and support delivery of cybersecurity risk management remediation reports and outcomes.
  • Develop tailored security awareness plans based on current and relevant cyber threats and risks.
  • Perform threat modeling and risk assessments to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct security architecture assessments to evaluate the completeness and effectiveness of security controls.
  • Perform third-party security risk assessments and implement third-party risk management programs.
  • Assist in planning client deliverables, including security strategies, risk assessments, policies, and standards.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in cybersecurity or a related technology discipline.
  • Industry-recognized security certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, SANS.
  • Previous advisory and consulting experience in relation to cybersecurity engagements.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and/or risk assessment standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, APRA, ASD ISM, PCI-DSS).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cloud infrastructure security practices (AWS/Azure).
  • 3-6 years' of cybersecurity experience with exposure to consulting-related activities.
  • High-level written and spoken English language skills.
  • The ability to work on multiple client matters simultaneously.
  • The ability to work with limited supervision.
  • A track record of collaborating effectively with other team members in time-sensitive situations.
