Automation Specialist Role

The Automation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of site material handling equipment. This involves carrying out planned maintenance, remotely supporting partner sites, updating records of work activities, and collaborating with manufacturers to improve processes and increase machine reliability.

This role also entails responding to equipment breakdowns, analysing data to find solutions, and completing quality inspections. Strong technical skills in automation hardware, software, and communications are essential for success in this position.
