Our client is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer
to join a high-scale platform team focused on improving system resilience, performance, and automation. You'll be working across infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems to ensure reliable delivery across services.

This is a high-impact
daily rate contract
role suited to engineers who can take ownership of production reliability and collaborate across dev and ops teams to implement scalable solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain
    highly available infrastructure
    across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Implement and improve
    CI/CD pipelines
    for safe and repeatable deployments
  • Manage and optimise
    Kubernetes clusters
    , autoscaling, and service mesh configs
  • Drive
    observability
    and
    incident response
    using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog
  • Automate routine operational tasks with
    Terraform
    , scripting, or GitOps patterns
  • Collaborate with software engineers to build reliable systems and improve deployment confidence
  • Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews (if applicable)

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in
    SRE
    ,
    DevOps
    , or
    Cloud Infrastructure
    roles
  • Hands-on experience with
    Terraform
    ,
    Kubernetes
    , and at least one major
    cloud provider
  • Strong understanding of
    monitoring, alerting
    , and
    incident response
    practices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab)
  • Familiarity with networking, container security, and infrastructure performance tuning
  • Bonus: Experience with service-level objectives (SLOs), chaos engineering, or scaling microservices
