**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing laundry services in accordance with infection control and laundry practice standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure all resident personal clothing and laundry items are properly labeled.
  • Safely transport and handle soiled linen in accordance with infection control requirements.
  • Launder linen and resident personal clothing according to established policies and procedures.
  • Store and use laundry agents safely, including cleaning agents used in the correct quantities for each task.
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of clean linen.
  • Inspect and identify linen items that require replacement.
  • Participate in the Infection Control Program.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in laundry practices is essential.
  • A current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire one is required.
  • Experience in residential aged care is also required.
  • Knowledge and experience in chemical handling is necessary.
